Choose from one of the following
1) Compose a science poem song or rap about geologic history.
2) Construct/write/illustrate a childerns book about geologic history
3) Read the following book and write a book report
The Map that changed the world by Simon Winchester
4) Document 10 additional fossils at the mall. For each give the following. a) photo b) exact location
c) name of fossil
5) Demonstrate how fossils are made by making your own fossils at home.Write a journal of what you did. Have
parent/guardian sign your journal, bring in your fossils. Links below contain directions.
6) Participate in the construction of a large timeline which we will display in the Hallway. You must be free either
period 5 or 8 or be willing to stay after school to help. Requirement 4 sessions minimun
